GBET TO HOLD SECOND ROUNDTABLE MEETING3/19/2015
Bonn, Germany (March 23, 2015) – The Global Business Exchange for Telecom (GBET), the carrier-led association created to collaboratively develop actionable solutions for the electronic exchange of business information, announces that it will host its upcoming roundtable in London, UK on April 16, 2015.
Hosted by PCCW Global, a director of the GBET Executive Council, the Roundtable brings together industry thought leaders to analyze industry developments, brainstorm new paths and leverage shifting paradigms within the industry.
“The GBET Roundtable is a platform created to enable our industry leaders to identify key initiatives and business opportunities which the wholesale community should focus on to maximize ROI and competitive advantage,” comments Margaret Morosi, GBET’s Chair and Head of Global Services for Deutsche Telekom (ICSS).
“By assessing the impact of the wholesale contribution on customer-centric propositions, such as social media, video, M2M, search, app stores, payments and advertising enabled by cloud technology, we continue to improve how our industry manages transactions and commercial relationships,” adds Morosi.
With contributions from the wider ICT industry, expanding outside the traditional wholesale voice/data world, the GBET Roundtable focuses on designing solutions to adapt, drive growth and efficiencies through the challenges arising from the complexities of negotiating, timely signing and renewing agreements. This year’s meeting follows the success of GBET’s first Roundtable held in London in 2014.
